Today, Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Eduard Danilovich assessed the conditions created for those crossing the Belarusian-Polish border through the Kozlovichi checkpoint during a working visit to the Brest Region.

This checkpoint is the largest and most popular cargo terminal in the Eurasian Economic Union, with a daily capacity of over 2,000 trucks on 18 lanes.

He assessed the practical results of the new inspection and screening system installed on a Belarusian chassis and the operational capacity of the waiting area, designed to accommodate 790 trucks.

The Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee also visited the Brest-Zapadny checkpoint, where he inspected customs officers handling goods transported by rail. In particular, he assessed the procedure for applying navigation seals to international rail transport, which began operating throughout the EAEU in February of this year.

As part of his working visit to the Brest region, Eduard Danilovich also participated in an off-site meeting of the State Border Committee Board.
