The Polish carrier did not declare the batch of cosmetic cream in order to save about 15 thousand rubles on customs payments.
The fact of illegal movement of goods to the territory of the EAEU was established by Grodno customs officers at the «Berestoviсa» checkpoint, where a VOLVO truck arrived from Poland for registration.
In the documents submitted by the driver, another category of cosmetic products was declared, among which 3.5 thousand packages of undeclared cream were found during the inspection. The cost of such a batch was about 100 thousand rubles.
The Grodno regional customs has initiated an administrative process in relation to the first carrier in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
According to the court's decision, he will pay a fine of 30% of the value of the illegally transported goods and the missing customs duties.
