The driver of the Minsk - Vilnius bus tried to hide over 25 thousand euros from customs control.
The violator was identified by law enforcement officers of the Operational and Grodno Regional customs offices.
The bus arrived from Minsk to travel abroad to the “Kamenny Log” checkpoint. The driver of the vehicle, a Lithuanian citizen, followed the green channel, which indicated that he had no goods or funds to declare.
Grodno customs officers searched the man - the cash was hidden in his underwear.
An administrative process has been initiated against the citizen in accordance with Part 2 of Article 15.1 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The hidden funds were seized pending the court's decision.
