During special measures aimed at countering the involvement of foreign goods in illegal trafficking, Operational сustoms officers stopped another attempt to illegally import such goods from Russia.
The cost of the next batch was more than 300 thousand Belarusian rubles.
The vehicle, which was carrying over 6.5 thousand pieces of clothing, shoes and other consumer goods, was stopped on 406 km of the M-1 highway.
As it turned out during the inspection, the documents submitted by the driver for control turned out to be fake.
An administrative process has been initiated against the Belarusian declarant in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
