During the implementation of operational information, Operational customs officers seized 72 aircraft model units in the form of toys prohibited for import into Belarus.
Customs officers found these goods during the inspection of a truck belonging to a Kazakh carrier that arrived from China. Described in the accompanying documents as just toys, they turned out to be very similar in appearance and design to aircraft models. The expert opinion confirmed this.
The operational customs has initiated an administrative process against the carrier in accordance with Part 2 of Article 18.38 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The sanction of the article provides for the imposition of a fine of 50 to 200 basic units against a legal entity with possible confiscation of the subject of an administrative offense.
