State awards and shoulder straps in connection with the assignment of personal titles were presented today by the Chairman of the State Customs Committee Vladimir Orlovsky to the customs officers of the Minsk region.
Congratulations were also addressed to the head of the Oshmyansky customs post, Leonarda Lokteva, who just yesterday received a high award from the Head of State, she was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Customs Officer".
On the eve of Victory Day, personal involvement in ensuring the security of the country is felt more acutely, and receiving awards acquires special significance and symbolism.
The head of the Belarusian customs thanked his colleagues for their responsible and caring attitude to the assigned task, for fulfilling the tasks assigned to the service at the proper level and congratulated them on the upcoming great holiday - Victory Day.
"We, the defenders of our country's economic security, as one of the main areas of national security, are fully aware that we have a huge responsibility on our shoulders. I am sure that Belarusian customs officers will continue to honorably continue the traditions of the older generation, preserving the memory of those who gave us peace in our native land," Vladimir Orlovsky said in his address to the staff.
