Chairman of the State Customs Committee Vladimir Orlovsky, as part of a working visit to the Mogilev region, took part in a line dedicated to Knowledge Day at secondary school No. 21 in Mogilev.
"Studying is serious work. Remember that your main strength is knowledge. Be curious, don't be afraid of difficulties, learn to win and always remain loyal companions. Love your country, respect the teachers who put their hearts into you, and appreciate the support of your parents," Vladimir Orlovsky addressed the students with parting words.
After the solemn event, the Chairman of the State Customs Committee talked with the students of the graduating customs class, spoke about the work of the customs service in modern realities, answered questions, and also presented the Mytny Klas badges to the children.
He reminded future customs officers that wearing a uniform is not just a beautiful distinction, it is a great honor and a high responsibility: "You are our future, our shift, the foundation of your readiness to protect the economic security of our Homeland is being laid right now, at school desks."
As a gift, the customs officers gave the school a certificate for strengthening the material and technical base.
Today, 52 customs classes have opened their doors to 1,171 students in 14 secondary schools and gymnasiums in all regional centers, Borovlyany, Bobruisk, Mozyr and Polotsk.
After that, Vladimir Orlovsky inspected the work of mobile groups on the Belarusian-Russian section of the border, and also visited the VET in Krichev, focused on registration of subjects of the eastern region of the Mogilev region.
