Brest customs operatives have established the fact of illegal transportation of more than 110 items of various goods to Russia.
The goods were transported in a MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER car, the movement of which was stopped during special operations on the M1 road section.
The cargo compartment of the vehicle contained knitwear, a batch of engine oil, a gas grill, as well as a motorcycle and parts of its exhaust system. The total cost of the specified amount was more than 125 thousand bel. rubles.
The driver, registered as an individual entrepreneur, carried out, according to him, cargo transportation at the request of third parties. He was unable to provide the documents required by law.
Brest Customs has initiated an administrative process under Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for the imposition of a fine of up to 50% of the value of the goods.
