Brest customs officers found caches of veterinary drugs in the bus that arrived at the «Brest» checkpoint.

The batch of medicines for animals belonged to the driver, a 33-year-old citizen of Belarus, whose statement about the absence of goods to be declared raised doubts among customs officers.

A decision was made to inspect the vehicle, during which the location of three caches was established - in the fuse niche of the front panel, behind the panel above the driver's seat, behind the locker mirror in the sanitary room of the bus.

112 packages of veterinary drugs, as well as a couple more auto parts, were recovered from them. The total estimated value of the seized was about 55 thousand Belarusian rubles.

Prior to the court's decision, the bus of the 2005 edition worth about 140 thousand Belarusian rubles, used to conceal goods, was also seized.

Brest Customs has initiated an administrative process against a Belarusian in accordance with Part 2 of Article 15.1 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for the imposition of a fine of up to 30 basic units with possible confiscation of hidden goods and a vehicle.
