Another fact of illegal movement of goods, this time with a total value of 400 thousand rubles, was revealed during special operations by employees of the operational unit of the Grodno regional customs.
A Volkswagen Crafter vehicle with a trailer was stopped on a section of the M-6 highway. It contained about 12,000 items of clothing, shoes, cosmetics, and fabrics in rolls.
The driver of the Belarusian legal entity did not submit the accompanying documents for the commercial shipment to the customs officers for verification because they were missing.
An administrative process has been initiated against the legal entity for illegal transportation under Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction provides for the imposition of a fine of up to 50% of the value of the goods.
