A Belarusian individual entrepreneur tried to illegally import into Belarus and sell here a batch of clothes and bags worth over 285 thousand white rubles.

The movement of his MERCEDES-BENZ SPRINTER vehicle, which arrived from Russia in Gomel, was stopped by Gomel customs officers during a special event.

There were over 7,6 thousand items in the car, for which the driver had no documents, including for their legal movement.

Gomel Customs has initiated an administrative process in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus (violation of the procedure for transporting goods). The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
